NOTES: Southwest of Butte and northwest of Dillion, the Maverick Mountain ski area has 21 runs served by one lift with a maximum vertical drop of 2,100 feet.
The Maverick Mountain Ski Area is located just north of the town of Polaris. To reach Maverick Mountain Ski Area from Butte, head south on US15 towards Dillion. Just past Dillon, head west on H-27S towards Polaris. Head north from Polaris to Maverick Mountain Ski Area.
