NOTES: West of Laramie and Centennial in Albany County, the Snowy Range has almost 200 miles of groomed snowmobile trails at elevations ranging from 7,000 to 11,000 feet. In addition to the groomed trail system, there are 120 miles of ungroomed Snowy Range snowmobile routes. And, there is plenty of meadows of deep powder, hills to climb and wide open parks. Snow depths of 12 feet are possible.

Here are some of the more popular trails in the Snowy Range: Mountain Home-Foxpark (5 miles), Dry Park Trail (10 miles), Rob Roy Loop (13 miles), Cottonwood (10 miles), Hollywood (4 miles), South Brush Creek (4 miles), Douglas Creek (4 miles), Sand Lake (15 miles), Lincoln Creek (4 miles), North Brush Creek (10 miles), Kennaday Creek (6 miles), Harden Creek (14 miles), Twin Lakes (17.5 miles), Brooklyn Lake (19 miles), Centennial-Sand Lake (15 miles)

R - Pelton Creek Road - 16.5 miles

S - Smith North - 6 miles

T - Libby Flats / Wycolo Trail / Foxpark-Keystone - 39.5 miles

U - Highway 130 Horse Trail - 26 miles

V - Cathedral Rocks - 7 miles

W - Iron Creek - 8 miles

Z - Sourdough - 8 miles

To reach the Green Rock Parking Area snowmobiling trailhead for the Snowy Range from Centennial, head northwest on SR130 for 7 miles.

Note: the State of Wyoming requires residents and non-residents to display an annual Wyoming snowmobile registration decal when snowmobiling on public lands, such as the Snowy Range. The annual fee revenues are used by the Snowmobile Trails Fund for trail grooming and maintenance. Decals may be purchased by calling (877) 996-7275.
