NOTES: Northeast of Jackson, there are 17 miles of groomed snowmobile trails at elevations ranging from 6,500 to 9,000 feet.

To reach the Lower Slide Lake snowmobiling trailhead from Jackson, head north on US26 towards Moose Junction. At Gros Ventre Junction, turn right on Gros Ventre Road to Kelly. In Kelly, veer left and then turn right still following Gros Ventre Road to the Lower Slide Lake parking area. A 4WD vehicle is highly recommended. Keep an eye out for moose, elk and buffalo on the road.

Tip - When snowmobiling Jackson Hole, the State of Wyoming requires residents and non-residents to display an annual Wyoming snowmobile registration decal. The annual fee revenues are used by the Snowmobile Trails Fund for trail grooming and maintenance. The decals may be purchased by calling (877) 996-7275.
