Located in Alabama, the ATV trails in Birmingham is known for three cool ATV and quad rides. The best Birmingham ATV trails based on popularity are considered to be Kentuck ORV Trail System, Ridge ATV Park, and Minooka Park.
East of Birmingham and south of Anniston near Munford in the Talladega National Forest, the Kentuck ORV Trail system has 23 miles of trails through rolling hills of oak and hickory forests. This system of four trails are fast with lots of turns, jumps and stream crossings. Some trails have easy sections with gentle grades, while others have steeper graded and tight turns.
South of Birmingham and north of Jemison in Chilton County, the Minooka Park OHV Trail System has 15 miles of ATV riding over 160 acres. The Multi-use trails (two-way travel) are designated for four wheelers, motorcycles, mountain bikes and horses. These trails were constructed by Trails Unlimited and volunteers.
Northeast of Birmingham and northwest of Springville, The Ridge has 440 acres of trails open to ATV riding. There are 30 miles of trails with all types of terrain including open fields, tight woods, fire lanes, hill climbing, creeks, rocks, and lots of elevation changes. There are approximatly 15 miles of trails with more being added on a weekly basis.
