Located in Texas, the ATV trails in Dallas offers more than a half-dozen beautiful ATV riding trails. The best Dallas ATV trails based on popularity are considered to be Red River ATV Park, Barnwell Mountain Recreational Area, Gator Run Offroad Park, Rocky Ridge Ranch, and Marshall Creek ORV Park.
Northeast of Dallas near Bonham, the Red River ATV Park has 400 acres of ATV riding along the Red River. Get ready for mud, sand, rocks and rolling hills.
East of Dallas and southeast of Longview near Easton, the Gator Run Offroad Park has 5,200 acres of ATV riding. Riding includes mud and dry trails, clay pits with hills and spring fed creeks.
East of Dallas and northeast of Gilmer, the TMTC / Barnwell Mountain Recreational Area has over 150 miles over 1,800 acres open to ATV riding. This area was opened in 2000 by the Texas Motorized Trails Coalition (TMTC). The rolling routes pass through rugged, heavily-wooded areas on an old iron ore mine.
Northwest of Dallas and north of Decatur, the Rocky Ridge Ranch has 650 acres of ATV riding. There are wooded trails with water holes and some steep hills.
Southeast of Dallas and east of Jacksonville, the Mud Creek Offroad Park has 2000 acres of hills, swamps and marshes open to ATV riding. On the west side of the park, the 600 acres of terrain is made up of rolling, green hills with some wooded patches and small creeks.
Near Fort Worth on Lake Grapevine, Marshall Creek ORV Park has 250 acres open to ATV riding. There are some steep hills and stunts. There is a new 7 mile Continuous Cross Country Trail. Plus, there is a Beginners Area for younger riders to work on their skills.
Southeast of Dallas near Jacksonville, the 2000 acre River Run ATV Park has a variety of riding opportunities for ATVs. There are dry and muddy trails crossing hills and the Neches River.
