Located in Arizona, the ATV trails in Lake Havasu offers more than a half-dozen beautiful ATV riding trails. The best Lake Havasu ATV trails based on popularity are considered to be Alamo Lake, Standard Wash, Mineral Wash - Bill Williams River Trail, South Plomosa Range Trail, and Swansea Loop Trail.
South of Lake Havasu City and east of Quartzsite, the South Plomosa Range Trail is a 16 mile route open to ATV riding. The trail passes through the Southern Cross Mine and climbs through a canyon.
Southeast of Lake Havasu City and west of Alamo Lake, the Swansea Loop Trail is a 12 mile route open to ATV riding in the Rawhide Mountains. The Swansea Loop Trail ATV route is heavily used and easy to follow.
Northeast of Parker, the Copper Basin Dunes OHV Area is a 1275 acre open area for ATV riding. Vehicle use in the area surrounding the OHV area is limited to designated routes. The ATV staging area provides a paved parking lot, restroom, loading ramp and bulletin board. Riding opportunities in this OHV area include the sand dunes, trails throughout the bajada and up into the canyons.
