Located in Nevada, the ATV trails in Las Vegas offers a half-dozen good ATV/Quad riding options. The best Las Vegas ATV trails based on popularity are considered to be Amargosa Big Dune, Logandale Trail System, Moapa Valley OHV Park, Nellis Dunes, and Bitter Springs Trail.
Northeast of Las Vegas and north of Overton near Logandale, the Logandale Trail System has 50 miles of trails open to ATV riding. The trails are dirt, sand and rock through red rock canyons along the scenic eastern boundary of Valley Of Fire State Park.
Northwest of Las Vegas and southeast of Beatty, the Amargosa Big Dune is a 5 square mile ATV playground which has mainly been a local secret. The dunes consist of crushed grains of feldspar and quartz. There are numerous small washes to explore.
Northeast of Las Vegas near Logandale, the Bitter Springs Backcountry Byway is a 28 mile route open to ATV riding. The byway begins at the Valley of Fire State Park and runs south along the foothills of the Muddy Mountains. It passes through several dry washes and past abandoned mining operations.
