Northwest of Presque Isle in northeastern Maine, the Aroostook Valley Trail is a 75 mile trail system open to ATV riding on an old railroad grade. A trailhead is available northwest of Presque Isle on SR164 near Washburn. From Washburn, routes run north to Caribou or through Perham into Stockholm.

Overall, Aroostook Valley ATV Trail is the 6th most popular ATV riding trail of all 21 ATV trails in Maine.
