Chadwick ATV Trails
The MOST popular all terrain vehicle trail in Missouri.

Southeast of Springfield, the Chadwick ATV Area is an 80 mile trail network. The dozens of trails weave among thick stands of oak, hickory and pine spread over a 12 square mile area. There are steep climbs over 400 feet pitches lined with tire-tossing talus. Cruise through tree lined alleys with giggle-inducing rollers.
To reach the Chadwick ATV Trails trailhead for ATV riding, follow US65 south ot SR14 east. Continue on SR14 for 15 miles to SR125 south. Just south of Chadwick township and near CR H, look for sign to Chadwick ATV area.
Note: A permit is required to ride this area and is available for a small fee from the National Forest Service offices and from local business. It may be difficult to obtain on Sundays.
Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding is permitted on all numbered Forest Service roads.
Overall, Chadwick ATV Trails is the 1st most popular ATV riding trail of all 12 ATV trails in Missouri.
