Northeast of Berlin, the routes to the remote Success Pond are shared by mountain bikes and ATV/OHRV riders. There are 12 miles of trails.

To reach the trailhead from Berlin, head north on SR16 to Mason Street. Turn right on Mason Street and proceed across the bridge to Hutchins Street. Turn left on Hutchins Street for 0.7 miles to the signed OHRV parking area.

The easiest route to Success Pond follows Success Pond Road. This 28 mile round trip route follows the flat gravel route, which has active logging.

The more challenging route is the OHRV Trail, which is 44 miles round trip. This rolling trail has some steep rocky sections and lots of mud. The route combines singletrack trail with logging roads so carefully follow signs.

Note: The State Of New Hampshire requires a NH state registration tag on every ATV. An out-of-state registration tag is not valid in NH. They will issue a fine if you try riding without a NH tag.

Overall, Success ATV Area is the 10th most popular ATV riding trail of all 19 ATV trails in New Hampshire.
