North of Lancaster and west of Stratford in Coos County, the North Country ATV Club maintains nearly 125 miles of trails (aka Stratford Trails) for multiple use spread over 30,000 acres. These trails are on private land and are maintained by the North Country ATV Club. The North Country ATV Trails vary from gravel road to challenging woodland trails.
The trails are located just outside the western edge of the Nash Stream Forest. The parking area is located in North Stratford on SR 3 at the Burns Gulf Station.
Note: In September 2006, it was reported that some of the older North Country ATV Club trails have been closed. Inparticular, the Potato Hill Loop. Also, when riding on Clark Hill Road, make sure to stay on the road and not stray off into priviate property.
Note: The State Of New Hampshire requires a NH state registration tag on every ATV. An out-of-state registration tag is not valid in NH. They will issue a fine if you try riding without a NH tag.
Overall, North Country ATV Trails is the 4th most popular ATV riding trail of all 19 ATV trails in New Hampshire.
