Flambeau Trail System For ATV Riding

The 9th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Wisconsin.

East of Park Falls in Price County, the Flambeau ATV Trail System has 60 miles of signed routes on rolling terrain. The trail system is highlighted by rolling terrain, tree lined corridors, wooden bridges, and vistas overlooking bogs and lakes. Along the trail there are several points of interest including the Smith Rapids Covered Bridge, Round Lake Logging Dam, and Camp Nine Springs. There is direct access to the communities of Park Falls and Fifield, lodging, camping, gas and restaurants. The trail is open for ATV use year ‘round. There are two trailheads: Blockhouse Lake and a parking area east of Fifield on SR70.

Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding on Forest Service roads is only permited on certain designated routes. Also, a valid Wisconsin ATV registration sticker is absolutely required.

Overall, Flambeau Trail System is the 9th most popular ATV riding trail of all 49 ATV trails in Wisconsin.
