Northeast of Phoenix in the Tonto National Forest, the 25 mile Sycamore Creek ATV Area has varied terrain rolling over mountains and through creek beds and sandwashes near cliffs and canyons. There are vistas of Superstition Mountain, Four Peaks Mountain and Weavers Needle.

The Four Peak Rolls ATV area is only 3 miles away.

Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding on Forest Service roads is limited to roads signed with horizontal numbers and also marked as open to ATV riding.

Overall, Sycamore Creek ATV Area is the 5th most popular ATV riding trail of all 42 ATV trails in Arizona. Several of the better atv trails are nearby Sycamore Creek ATV Area including Rolls OHV Area and Great Western Trail.
