Bear Creek Trail ATV Trails

Southwest of Little Rock and west of Kirby, the Bear Creek Trail is a 31 mile ATV trail system. The trails roll along the eastern shore of Lake Greeson through wooded hills.

Bear Creek Trail is 31 miles long with four access points for ATV riding, one of which is at Daisy State Park. Some sections of this trail are fairly level and great for beginners, especially around the Bear Creek area. Other sections are rated as challenging because of rugged terrain and steep hillsides. The trail, which was cut through the forest and utilizes no logging roads, is very scenic, running near Lake Greesons shoreline. It is mainly a motorcycle trail, though ATVs are allowed. The other three access points are also at campgrounds, offering a combination of camping and riding opportunities. The campsites range from primitive to Class A, which have electricity and bathrooms. There is no day-use fee for the trail.

Bear Creek Trail is located near Kirby, which is south of Hot Springs on U.S. 70.

From Texas, the easiest way to get there is to take Hwy 70 East out of DeQueen. Hwy 70 goes along the North side of Lake Greeson and goes by Daisy State Park. (Approximately 40 miles NE of DeQueen AR on Hwy 70).
