Southeast of Springfield and west of Clarksville near Marshall in Clark County, the 2,600 acre Mill Creek Park has 15 miles of ATV trails in the woods near the lake.

To reach the Park take Interstate 70 to Marshall, IL exit 147, then take Illinois 1 to Hwy 40 intersection, turn toward Casey, IL then take Clarksville Road 7 miles to the park.

Overall, Mill Creek Park is the 3rd most popular ATV riding trail of all 13 ATV trails in Illinois. Several of the better atv trails are nearby Mill Creek Park including Chadwick ATV Trails, South Fork Dirt Riders, Sutton Bluff, Harpole Heartland ATV Area, Brushy Ridge Motorsports and Splinter Creek Dirt Riders.
