Bonnet Carre Spillway For ATV Riding

Northwest of New Orleans, the 7,700 acre Bonnet Carre Spillway area has plenty of sandy and muddy areas for ATV exploration. There are two designated riding areas.
To get here from the east on I-10: Exit I-10 at I-310 in Kenner. Go south on I-310 to Hwy 61 and exit right on 61. Go app. 5 miles to a town named Norco. The spillway will intersect Hwy 61 immediately past this town. Enter the spillway on the south side of Hwy 61. Parking areas are available as soon as you enter the spillway.
Overall, Bonnet Carre Spillway is the 2nd most popular ATV riding trail of all 8 ATV trails in Louisiana.
