Near Blue Rock, the 4,567 acre Perry State Forest has 16 miles of very popular and challenging APV trails across an area formerly strip mined for coal. These Perry State Forest trails are open to ATV riding.

To reach the ATV riding trailhead from Somerset, head south on SR13 to SR669. Veer left heading east on SR669 for 5.5 miles to Redfield. Turn right heading south on Township Road 154NE for 1.5 miles. Turn right on Township Road 153 to trailhead.

Overall, Perry State Forest is the 5th most popular ATV riding trail of all 13 ATV trails in Ohio.
