Peters Mill Run ATV Trail

Southeast of Edinburg in the George Washington National Forest, the Peters Mill Run ATV Trail is a cool 13.7 mile ORV trail.

To reach the Peters Mill Run ATV riding trailhead from US81, use Exit #279 (Edinburg). Follow SR675 southeast for 4.5 miles to the trailhead at Edinburg Gap. The Peters Mill Run ATV/ORV Trail is located on the north side of the road. The Taskers Gap Trail is located on the south side of the road.

The route runs north to NFS Little Fort Campground, east of Woodstock on SR758.

Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding is not permitted on any Forest Service roads.

Overall, Peters Mill Run ATV Trail is the 4th most popular ATV riding trail of all 15 ATV trails in Virginia. Several of the better atv trails are nearby Peters Mill Run ATV Trail including Patterson Mountain OHV Trail, South Pedlar ATV Trail, Rocky Run ATV Trail and Taskers Gap ATV Trail.
