Taskers Gap ATV Trail

The 3rd most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Virginia.

Southeast of Edinburg in the George Washington National Forest, the Taskers Gap ATV Trail is a cool 14.4 mile ORV trail.

To reach the Taskers Gap ATV riding trailhead from US81, use Exit #279 (Edinburg). Follow SR675 southeast for 4.5 miles to the trailhead at Edinburg Gap. The Peters Mill Run ATV/ORV Trail is located on the north side of the road. The Taskers Gap Trail is located on the south side of the road.

Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding is not permitted on any Forest Service roads.

Overall, Taskers Gap ATV Trail is the 3rd most popular ATV riding trail of all 15 ATV trails in Virginia. Several of the better atv trails are nearby Taskers Gap ATV Trail including Patterson Mountain OHV Trail, South Pedlar ATV Trail, Peters Mill Run ATV Trail and Rocky Run ATV Trail.
