Blue OHV Trail For ATV Riding

The 7th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in South Carolina.

Southwest of Sumter and south of Wedgefield, the 23,000 acre Manchester State Forest has 100 miles of road and trails through flowering mountain laurel and red cedar that are open to ATV riding.

The Blue OHV Trail (7.8 miles) is one of three loops in the Manchester Forest that wind through a mixture of forest, open, area, and some wetland. You will be guided by arrows, which indicate turns and direction of travel. Although basically a lowland area, there are enough small hills to make your ride exciting. The trail surface is a mixture of dirt and sand.

To reach the ATV riding for the Blue OHV Trail from Sumter head west on US 76 for 10 miles. Go south on SR 261 for 12.7 miles.

Veer right on Sumter County S-51 (toward Rimini). The entrance to the parking is approximately 0.6 miles on the left side.

Purple 4.2 miles

Overall, Blue OHV Trail is the 7th most popular ATV riding trail of all 12 ATV trails in South Carolina.
