Pike State Forest For ATV Riding
The 6th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Ohio.

South of Chillicothe and west of Waverly, the 11,900 acre Pike State Forest has 15 miles of trails open to ATV riding. The trails wind through the hollows and ridge tops, offering the visitor a challenging ride as well as some beautiful scentery and breathtaking views.
To reach the trailhead from Chillicothe, proceed south on US 23 past Waverly to SR 124. Head west on SR 124 to Lapperell Road and park at the State Forest Headquarters.
Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding on Forest Service roads is limited to designated roads that are signed as open or marked on the forest recreation map. To be safe (and legal), contact the Forest Service HQ to obtain a map at (719) 553-1400.
Overall, Pike State Forest is the 6th most popular ATV riding trail of all 17 ATV trails in Ohio.
