East Fork Hayden Creek Trail For ATV Riding
The 18th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Idaho.

South of Salmon and northwest of Leadore in the Salmon-Challis National Forest, the East Fork Hayden Creek Trail (#6181) is a 6.6 mile route ranging from 7,400 feet to 8,800. This is a scenic trail along the East Fork of Hayden Creek traveling up and over talus ridge into Mill Lake.
To reach the trailhead from SR28 just north of Lemhi, head southwest on Hayden Creek Road for roughly 10 miles. Turn east on FS010 for about 3.3 miles to the trailhead.
Note: Motorized vehicles are allowed to just before the talus crossing over to Mill Lake.
Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding is permitted only on designated dirt Forest Service roads. A map with designated roads can be obtained from the Forest Service HQ at (208) 756-5100. In addition, the ATV must pass a strict list of regulations.
Overall, East Fork Hayden Creek Trail is the 18th most popular ATV riding trail of all 55 ATV trails in Idaho. Several of the better atv trails are nearby East Fork Hayden Creek Trail including Bear Valley Lakes Trail, Hayden Creek Trail, Big Eightmile Trail and Nez Perce National Historic Trail.
