Duck Lake Trail For ATV Riding

The 9th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Maine.

East of Burlington in Penobscot County, the Duck Lake Trail system is a 30 mile network of shared use roads that are open to ATV riding.

To reach the trailhead from Burlington, head east on SR188 (Grand Falls Road). Past Saponac, there is a major intersection - follow Nicatous Stream Road southeast and then it veers north. After about a mile, turn right on unsigned road and continue for 8 miles. Turn left and continue for about a mile to trailhead parking.

Overall, Duck Lake Trail is the 9th most popular ATV riding trail of all 22 ATV trails in Maine.
