West of Cushing, the Sterling Trail is a 7 mile loop through woodlands. The Sterling Trail is open to ATV riding.

The trailhead is on Evergreen Avenue (aka 270th Avenue). To reach the trailhead from SR87, head west on 5.5 miles on Evergreen Ave.

Overall, Sterling Trail is the 42nd most popular ATV riding trail of all 48 ATV trails in Wisconsin. Several of the better atv trails are nearby Sterling Trail including Cattail Trail, Clear Lake - Clayton ATV Trail and Somers Lake Trail.
