Snake Creek For ATV Riding

The 12th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Minnesota.

Near Altura in Wabasha County within the Richard J Dorer Memorial Hardwood State Forest, the 3,000 acre Snake Creek Management Unit has a 13.5 mile loop open to ATV riding.

To reach the trailhead from Red Wing, head southeast on US61. About 4.5 miles past Kellogg, turn right into Snake Creek. Veer left to reach the motorized trailhead.

Overall, Snake Creek is the 12th most popular ATV riding trail of all 33 ATV trails in Minnesota.
