Cricket Mountains For ATV Riding

The 43rd most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Utah.

Southwest of Salt Lake City and Delta, there are numerous ATV loops totaling 130 miles in the Cricket Mountains through grass desert and juniper/pinon stands. The signed outer loop is an easy 60 miles. There are several side routes that are more difficult. All the routes are on either graded road or jeep trails. Keep an eye out for antelop and eagles.

To reach the trailhead from Salt Lake City, head south on US15 to Nephi. Continue southwest on SR132 to Lynndyl. Proceed southwest on US6 to Delta. Continue west on US50/6 for 6 miles. Turn south on SR257. To reach the northern most trailhead, turn west at Milepost 53 for 9.7 miles. To reach the southern most trailhead closer to Milford, turn west at Milepost 23 for 2.4 miles.

Overall, Cricket Mountains is the 43rd most popular ATV riding trail of all 75 ATV trails in Utah.
