Raft River Mountains For ATV Riding

The 31st most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Utah.

Northwest of Salt Lake City and Park Valley in the Sawtooth National Forest, there are 40 mils of ATV trails in the Raft River Mountains. The trails range from 6,000 to 9,500 feet elevation.

To reach the Black Creek Trailhead from Salt Lake City, head north on US15 to Tremonton. Proceed northwest on US84 to the Park Valley Exit just past Snowville. Continue west and southwest on SR30 to Park Valley. Continue for 4.5 miles beyond Park Valley. Veer right and continue for another 4.5 miles to the Black Creek Trailhead.

Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding is prohibited on Forest Service roads, unless the ATV has valid license plates.

Overall, Raft River Mountains is the 31st most popular ATV riding trail of all 75 ATV trails in Utah.
