Southwest of Moab, the Chicken Corners Trail is a 43 mile ATV route along the Colorado River gorge. The route follows scenic Kane Springs Canyon and then climbs the Kane Creek anticline to Hurrah Pass. Then it descends to benches above the river. The route ends about 400 feet above the river across from Dead Horse Point.
To reach the trailhead from Main Street at Center Street in Moab, travel south on Main 0.6 mile, turn right on Kane Creek Blvd., follow it through two sweeping curves past its junction with 500 W. St., and continue into the river canyon. When the pavement ends near Kane Creek [0.0], continue on the good gravel road as it enters Kane Springs Canyon and follows the canyon meanders at various levels above the creek. Continue with the good road as it crosses the mouth of Hunters Canyon at a hiking trailhead.
Overall, Chicken Corners Trail is the 4th most popular ATV riding trail of all 75 ATV trails in Utah. Several of the better atv trails are nearby Chicken Corners Trail including Amasa Back Trail, White Wash Sand Dunes and Top Of The World Trail.
