Bluff Creek OHV Park For ATV Riding

The 2nd most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Iowa.

Southeast of Des Moines and southwest of Oskaloosa in Mahaska County, the Bluff Creek OHV Park has 20 miles of trails over 360 acres open to ATV riding. The park land is mainly on an abandoned strip coal mine, and the terrain varys from steep hill climbs to rolling hills. The wooded trails wind through trees, and the family-friendly perimeter trail circles the entire area. This area also has 3 motocross tracks and primitive camping is allowed.

To reach the ATV riding trailhead at Bluff Creek ORV Park from Oskaloosa, head southwest on SR163 to CR T-39. Turn south on CR 7-39 for 8 miles to CR G-71. Turn south on CR G-71 for 1 mile to the park entrance.

Overall, Bluff Creek OHV Park is the 2nd most popular ATV riding trail of all 8 ATV trails in Iowa.
