West of Portland and east of Tillamook, the Tillamook State Forest has 200 miles of trails open to ATV riding. A great place to start is the Jordan Creek OHV Area. This trailhead is located at milepost 18 of the Wilson River Highway (SR6).

From the Jordan Creek Trailhead, there are 100 miles of trails that crisscross the costal mountains. The routes combine logging roads and narrow trails.

Overall, Jordan Creek OHV Area is the 27th most popular ATV riding trail of all 44 ATV trails in Oregon. Several of the better atv trails are nearby Jordan Creek OHV Area including Diamond Mill OHV Area, Trask OHV Area and Browns Camp OHV Area.
