Crown King For ATV Riding

The 7th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Arizona.

Northwest of Phoenix, the Crown King area is very popular with ATV riders. The Crown King area offers trail riding through pine forest in the Bradshaw Mountains.

To reach the Crown King area from Phoenix, head north on US17 to Exit 248. Head west through Bubble Bee and Cleator on CR59 for 27 miles to the trailhead.

Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding on Forest Service roads is limited to ATVs that have a valid license plate.

Overall, Crown King is the 7th most popular ATV riding trail of all 42 ATV trails in Arizona. Several of the better atv trails are nearby Crown King including Sheridan Mountain / Smith Mesa, Alto Pit ATV Area, Tonto Wash Trail, Hayfield Draw OHV Area and Seven Mile Gulch Trail.
