Vernon Enduro Multi-Use Trail For ATV Riding
The 3rd most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Louisiana.

Southwest of Alexandria and north of Cravens in the Kisatchie National Forest, the Vernon Enduro Multi-Use Trail is a 30 mile trail system open to ATV riders. The trail loops through pine upland forest. The trail is blazed with painted blue squares.
The primary trailhead is the Enduro Trailhead Camp.
To reach the ATV riding trailhead for the Enduro Multi-Use Trail from Leesville, head south on US171 for 7 miles. Turn left on SR10 for 4.5 miles. Turn left on FS405 for 8 miles. Turn right on FS440 for 2.5 miles.
The Enduro Trail System consists of three main loops. The Fullerton Loop is 22 miles and is open to dirt biking, ATV riding and horseback riding. The South Loop is 5 miles and is open to dirt biking, ATV riding and horseback riding. The Mogul singletrack loop is 18 miles and is not open to ATV riding, but open to all others.
Note: the Whisky Chitto Trail intersects the Vernon Enduro Multi-Use Trail often but is only for non-motorized users.
Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding on Forest Service roads is prohibited.
