Livingston - Hickman For ATV Riding

The 5th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Louisiana.

North of Pineville in the Kisatchie National Forest, the Camp Livingston Trail Complex is open to ATV riding. There are two main trails. The Little Creek Trail is a 22.6 mile route. The Hickman Trail is a 12.5 mile route.

There are two trailheads: Hickman Trailhead in the north and Little Creek Trailhead in the south.

To reach the Little Creek Trailhead from Pineville, head north on SR165 to the town of Ball (roughly 6 miles). Turn east on SR1204 (aka Camp Livingston Road) for 2.5 miles to the trailhead.

Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding on Forest Service roads is prohibited.

Overall, Livingston - Hickman is the 5th most popular ATV riding trail of all 8 ATV trails in Louisiana. Several of the better atv trails are nearby Livingston - Hickman including Claiborne Multi-Use Trail System, Vernon Enduro Multi-Use Trail and Sandstone Multi-Use Trail.
