South of Crandon overlooking Lake Metonga, the Forest County Forestry Department maintains an 8 mile trail system open to ATV riding. The brown-blazed, two-way trails are roll over old logging roads through northern hardwoods overlooking Lake Metonga.

To reach the Forest County Public ATV Trail trailhead from Crandon, head south on County Road W. Veer right on Perry Road. Turn right on Quade Lane. Turn right on Duff Road to the trailhead.

Overall, Forest County is the 38th most popular ATV riding trail of all 48 ATV trails in Wisconsin.
