South of Birmingham and north of Jemison in Chilton County, the Minooka Park OHV Trail System has 15 miles of ATV riding over 160 acres. The Multi-use trails (two-way travel) are designated for four wheelers, motorcycles, mountain bikes and horses. These trails were constructed by Trails Unlimited and volunteers. Zone A is open to dirt bikes and ATV's under 50 inches wide. Zone B is for ATV's over 50 inches wide and side-by-side UTV riding.

To reach the park from Jemison, head north on US31 for 4 miles. Turn right heading east on CR146 for 2 miles into the park.

Note: Chilton County is building this park and has aquired a total of 366 acres for future expansion.

Overall, Minooka Park is the 4th most popular ATV riding trail of all 5 ATV trails in Alabama. Several of the better atv trails are nearby Minooka Park including Kentuck ORV Trail System and Ridge ATV Park.
