Southeast of Lake Havasu City near Alamo Lake, the Alamo Lake Road is a graded dirt road that provides access to the west side of Alamo Lake and numerous ATV trails. These trails include: Flag Mine Trail, McCracken Peak Trail, Rawhide Mountains Trail and Signal Road Trail.

Alamo Road is located north of Pheonix off SR60 at Wenden.

Overall, Alamo Lake is the 10th most popular ATV riding trail of all 42 ATV trails in Arizona. Several of the better atv trails are nearby Alamo Lake including Standard Wash, South Plomosa Range Trail, Mineral Wash - Bill Williams River Trail, Swansea Loop Trail, Crossroads Area and Copper Basin Dunes OHV Area.
