Fall Creek Mine For ATV Riding

The 7th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Alaska.

North of Seward in the Chugach National Forest, the Fall Creek Mine is a 10 mile route. Only the first 3 miles are open to ATV riding. The trails can be rocky, muddy and rooty.

Trail is 25 miles north of Seward on SR 9 (Seward Hwy.) The trail heads east.

Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding is not permitted on any Forest Service roads.

Overall, Fall Creek Mine is the 7th most popular ATV riding trail of all 27 ATV trails in Alaska. Several of the better atv trails are nearby Fall Creek Mine including Bird Creek Valley Trail, Little Nilchina River Trail, Bald Mountain Trail, Knik River Trail, Eklutna Lakeside Trail and Old Man Trail - Monument Trail.
