South of Lake Havasu City and east of Quartzsite, the South Plomosa Range Trail is a 16 mile route open to ATV riding. The trail passes through the Southern Cross Mine and climbs through a canyon.
To reach the ATV trailhead for the South Plomosa Range Trail from the intersection of I-10 and SR 95 (east of Quartzsite), head North on 95 for 6 miles. Turn right heading east onto Plomosa Road. Proceed 4 miles to the start of the trail.
Overall, South Plomosa Range Trail is the 28th most popular ATV riding trail of all 42 ATV trails in Arizona.
