Packsaddle Mountain Loop For ATV Riding

Northwest of Kingman near Chloride, the Packsaddle Mountain Loop is a 16.5 mile route through the Cerbat Mountains that is open to ATV riding. The Packsaddle Mountain Loop follows a long winding shelf road. This ATV riding route passes through the old Chloride townsite.

To reach the Packsaddle Mountain ATV trailhead at the campground from Kingman, head north on SR93 for 18 miles. Turn right onto Big Wash Road. Travel 9 miles to Packsaddle Campground and park. The route continues on the road, becoming more challenging as you get nearer to Chloride.

Overall, Packsaddle Mountain Loop is the 15th most popular ATV riding trail of all 42 ATV trails in Arizona. Several of the better atv trails are nearby Packsaddle Mountain Loop including White Hills Trail, Portland Mine Road, Thumb Butte Trail and Hualapai Mountain Park.
