Pear Orchard Motorcycle Use Area For ATV Riding

South of Ardmore in Lake Murray State Park, the Pear Orchard Motorcycle Use Area has 10 miles of trails over 1,000 acres open to ATV riding. The marked trails traverse the forest, prairie and sandy, rolling hills.
To reach the park from US35, use Exit 29. Head east on SH-70 for 6 miles.
Registration of OHVs (ATVs) is not required in Oklahoma, and there is no minimum age for riding such. Muffler and spark arrestors are required on State and Federal land and the OHV must be equipped with headlights for night riding. On-road use is prohibited with certain exceptions, notably riding on unpaved National Forest system roads.
Overall, Pear Orchard Motorcycle Use Area is the 6th most popular ATV riding trail of all 19 ATV trails in Oklahoma.
