Southwest of Reno and just west of Yerington, the Mason Pass Road is a 11 mile route. It is part of the Yerington Multiple Use Trail System that is open to ATV ridng. This is a dirt road with steady elevation gain. Note: Loops via Mickey Pass are very rocky and difficult.
Parking for the ATV riding at the Central Yerington trails is available at Weed Heights Park grounds or at the Highway 339 rest area just south of Yerington.
Overall, Mason Pass Road is the 22nd most popular ATV riding trail of all 27 ATV trails in Nevada.
