Davis Flat OHV Area For ATV Riding

Northwest of Yuba City and west of Stonyford in the Mendocino National Forest, the Davis Flat area (aka Stonyford OHV) has 200 miles of OHV routes ranging from 1,700 feet to 6,000 feet in elevation.

To reach the ATV riding trailhead for Davis Flat OHV Area from US5, use Exit 585. Head west on Maxwell Sites Road. Veer right on Sites Lodoga Road and veer right on Lodoga Stonyford Road to Stonyford. Turn left on Fouts Spring Road (SR43A) for 7 miles. Turn right on Old Fouts Spring Road to the Davis Flat / Fouts Springs OHV Staging Area.

Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding on Forest Service roads outside of the OHV Area is only permitted for ATVs with valid license plates.
