The famous Mojave Road is a 138 mile route open to ATV riding. This is a true desert trail and has changed little since the original settlers forged this path. The eastern trailhead is a good starting point.

Overall, Mojave Road is the 25th most popular ATV riding trail of all 106 ATV trails in California. Several of the better atv trails are nearby Mojave Road including Cottonwood Canyon Jeep Trail, Rasor OHV Area, Stoddard Valley OHV Area, Olancha Dunes, Dumont Dunes OHV Area, El Mirage Dry Lake OHV Area and Johnson Valley OHV Area.
