Olancha Dunes For ATV Riding

The 49th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in California.

North of Barstow and east of Olancha, the Olancha Dunes have 10 miles of ATV riding over 1,000 acres of sand dunes. The riding area is along SR190 and Panamint Valley Road.

To reach the main trailhead from Olancha, head east on SR190 for 2 miles and look for the parking off the highway.

Overall, Olancha Dunes is the 49th most popular ATV riding trail of all 106 ATV trails in California. Several of the better atv trails are nearby Olancha Dunes including Stoddard Valley OHV Area, Mojave Road, Dumont Dunes OHV Area, Cottonwood Canyon Jeep Trail, Rasor OHV Area and El Mirage Dry Lake OHV AreaJohnson Valley OHV Area.
