Milner Trail For ATV Riding

The 27th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Idaho.

South of Grangeville in the Nez Perce National Forest, the Milner Trail (#641) is a 16 mile route open to ATV riding. The trail runs south from Fish Creek Trailhead along the west divide of Mill Creek. The wide trail is mostly gravel.

To reach the Fish Creek Meadows trailhead from Grangeville, head south on Grangeville-Salmon Road (FS221) for 8 miles. Parking is available at the NFS Fish Creek Campground.

To reach the trailhead from the intersection of SR 13 and Mount Idaho Rd. (NFD 221), go south on Mount Idaho Rd. for 7.5 miles. The road will change names to Salmon Road, and then Fish Creek Road. Park on the right.

Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding is only permitted on designated Forest Service roads. Each road is marked to indicate usage.

Overall, Milner Trail is the 27th most popular ATV riding trail of all 55 ATV trails in Idaho.
