Musselshell OHV Area For ATV Riding

The 26th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Idaho.

South of Pierce and east of Weippe in the Clearwater National Forest, the Musselshell OHV Area has 12 miles of routes open to ATV riding.

The area is located 12 miles south of Pierce and 12 miles east of Weippe. There are two trailheads, both on FS100. To reach the trailheads from Glenwood, head east on Glenwood Rd/Lolo Creek Rd. Follow the road north/northeast for 13.5 miles to the trailhead.

Note: ATV riding on Forest Service roads is permitted only on designated routes that are marked. Also, all ATVs must have a valid ATV registration.

Overall, Musselshell OHV Area is the 26th most popular ATV riding trail of all 55 ATV trails in Idaho. Several of the better atv trails are nearby Musselshell OHV Area including Camp Moosehorn OHV Route, Cedars OHV Trail System, Clarke Mountain OHV Trail System, Old Sampson Trail OHV Route and Scurvy Lookout OHV Route.
