Noddle Motorized Trail For ATV Riding
The 30th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Colorado.

West of Castle Rock in the Rampart Range area, the Noddle Motorized Trail (#677) is a 12 mile route running southwest from SR67 to Rampart Range Road.
To reach the Rampart Range area from Denver, Santa Fe (Hwy 85) south at Sedalia, take State Hwy. 67 West approximately ten miles to the Forest Service Indian Creek Work Center (Rampart Range Road (top of hill)). Rampart Range road is marked with a sign at the top of the hill, on the north side is the Forest Service Indian Creek Work Center. The road begins here and runs south to Colorado springs (Rampart Range is not open to un licensed vehicles). Past Rampart Range road about three miles is the Sprucewood bar (you have gone to far) stop here for directions, they also have area maps. Along the road you will find several place sto park or camp.
Persons approaching from the south may take Rampart Range Road from Woodland Park, or Hwy. 67 from Deckers.
The Noodle Motorized Trail trailhead is on SR67 just south of Sprucewood.
Note: there has been reports that the trailhead gate is very narrow and may not permit ATVs to pass through it.
Note: Colorado residents must register their off-highway vehicle with the Colorado State Parks (303) 866-3437. Out-of-state residents who bring OHVs into Colorado must purchase a Colorado Non-Resident OHV permit which is valid from the date of purchase through the following March 31. These permits can be purchased anywhere you get your hunting/fishing licenses in All off-highway vehicles must have an approved muffler and spark arrester. These requirements are subject to change so make sure to contact the Colorado State Parks prior to using your off-highway vehicle.
Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding on Forest Service roads is limited to designated roads that are signed as open or marked on the forest recreation map. To be safe (and legal), contact the Forest Service HQ to obtain a map at (719) 553-1400.
Overall, Noddle Motorized Trail is the 30th most popular ATV riding trail of all 90 ATV trails in Colorado. Several of the better atv trails are nearby Noddle Motorized Trail including Long Hollow Motorized Trail, Power Line Motorized Trail, Rainbow Falls OHV Area, Flat Rock Motorized Trail, North Divide OHV Area and Bar Motorized Trail.
