Southeast of Heber City, the Strawberry Ridge / Currant Creek area has 50+ miles of trails open to ATV riding.
This area is located about 25 miles southeast of Heber City off US40.
Note: Like most National Forests, the trails and road are closed to ATV riding unless specifically signed open. Do not count on seeing a closure sign but expect to see an open sign. Lately, it has been reported that the rangers in the Wasatch-Cache National Forest have been strictly enforcing closures and issuing Federal citations which require a court apperance and $150 fine.
Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding on Forest Service Roads is limited to designated roads. To obtain the latest map of designated roads, make sure to contact the Forest Service HQ at (801) 466-6411.
Overall, Strawberry Ridge / Currant Creek is the 12th most popular ATV riding trail of all 75 ATV trails in Utah.
