Divide Peak Road OHV Route For ATV Riding

North of Santa Barbara in the Los Padres National Forest, the Divide Peak Road OHV Route is a 12.5 mile route offering views of the Santa Barbara coastline and the San Rafael Mountains.
From the intersection of SR 192 and San Ysidro Rd in Montecito go 1.9 miles east on SR 192. Turn left (north) onto Romero Canyon Rd. Go 8 miles to the Romero Saddle (a junction.) Go right (east) on Murietta Juncal Rd for just over 1 mile. Look for the trailhead.
Note: As of September 2007, ATV riding is only permitted on Forest Service roads with vertical number signs. All ATVs must have a valid California Green ATV sticker. ATV riding is prohibited on Forest Service roads with horizontal number signs.
