Voyageur Trail System For ATV Riding

The 9th most popular all terrain vehicle trail in Ontario.

Southeast of North Bay and northwest of Mattawa, the Voyageur Multi-Use Trail System consisting of numerous loops of varying distance.

The terrain is constantly changing. The trails are forest-covered with stream crossings (some large) and wet areas. There are rugged rocky climbs, too. There are all types of trails from easy to difficult. The trails are set mostly on narrow abandoned logging roads that are tree-lined.

To reach the trailhead from Toronto: Take Hwy 400 North to the City of Barrie, then Hwy 11 North to the City of North Bay. Turn right on Hwy 17 East and this will take you into the Town of Mattawa. The trails start from town heading northwest.

Overall, Voyageur Trail System is the 9th most popular ATV riding trail of all 15 ATV trails in Ontario.
